JUDITH is a Berlin-based musician and producer. After starting her musical journey on the streets of Seattle at 18, she studied music in Hannover, Germany, later forming her first Band.
After moving to Berlin her focus shifted to electronic music. Digging deeper into the unending freedom she creates unbiased and naive songs, right on the edge of down tempo and pop.
An extremely diverse musician, JUDITH is also working on a rather club-focused live set to be played this summer, and a Album called
O R T E wich includes 7 Track with german lyrics and 7 Pictures she is painting.
During the past few years JUDITH has collaborated with a broad range of artists and released on labels such as Friendly Connections, Amselcom, Hug, Fine Beatz, Drossel or Stil vor Talent.

The concept album takes us on a journey through Judith Ahrends' life: "I went to these places to capture atmospheres and traces of another time."
It begins in her childhood village of Hollenstedt, full of playful lightness and a sense of connection and strength. At 15, a move to Kleinmachnow disrupts this harmony. The steady hum of the highway becomes a quiet backdrop, merging with the wind in the pines.
The journey continues: a year in Seattle, her university years in Hanover, spent alone in a small room staring at the ceiling. Life in Berlin and sleeping in Luckenwalde, where the night owl calls. Finally, the track "HERE" reflects an inner place, detached from space and time — a home.
Each song is accompanied by a painting, 80x80 cm, created with acrylics, ink, and other pens. A cow, tied to Hollenstedt, even made it onto the album cover.
